So.. let's see how long I can keep myself on updating this thing. Oh yea, I should change the mood theme someday too >_>.
Mother's day today. Nothing special really happened. Went with my mother and brother to eat lunch at Foster's Hollywood. 2 waiters were kinda clumsy and dropped stuff on our table too, orz. I think I'd die carrying so many plates and stuff too anyways. Oh, of course, I ate too much. >_>
Recently quit Guild Wars after spending a retarded amount of money on the game and not even playing it for 2 weeks. I don't know, it looks cool, it seems like a really casual game, the armor looks good so far too, and I can play my beloved Emomancer (though the minions kinda suck here).
But it's boring. Really boring. The way the abilities are used and spells casted is annoying. The way you move is annoying. Having to bring NPCs everywhere is boring. It feels like you don't really control the course of the battle .The story is lame. The cutscenes are poorly designed. It really sucks because I was excited about the game, being made by the ex-Blizzard dudes that developed Diablo and all that, and how it seemed to have so many good things. Also it had some cool features, like how you could change the language easily and how, unlike WoW, this game gave me no problems to be able to play not only with my dear Holly, but also with people I know from here.
But ah well. Perhaps we didn't give it enough time, but if we can't even get ourselves to play it, then there is nothing to do.
So here we are, looking for a "new" (because technically it's gonna be an old game) game again. I've been looking into FFXI stuff for a while. I can't believe how much that game still appeals to me, given the fact that well.. It sucks in many ways that make it sucky to play. But anyways, I doubt we'll be going back to that game. Perhaps if the Charybdis incident had never happened (though I don't regret what happened at all orz. GTFO Vyo), but now it feels like we have nothing left there anymore.
So I'm almost sure it's gonna be WoW again. Now, I thought this would suck because I'm so stuck up with the warlock class, and it's hard getting myself to play anything else, and I have played enough warlocks already; but I randomly felt the urge to play a warrior after I looked at some stuff about the classes to see how they are nowadays (and some armor screenshots orz), and I'm going to try that. Tanking always seemed fun, and I want to give it another shot because when I tried it the first time, I was when we played the game for the first time, so I knew nothing and couldn't do anything right.
So anyways, after typing so much crap about games, I'm going to try to stop procrastinating and finish reading this stupid English book for tomorrow.
Won't double-check this because I'm too lazy right now
